We caved a bit on our projected budget and tied one on the other day. Starting out with some wine at the Queenstown Yacht Club. Hanging out with Michael McDonald and the like. You know REAAAAAAAAAAL SMOOOOOOOOTH. Lots of white leather and rich mahagony. Grabbed pizza and beers at Winnies where they were having speed dating night which made for excellent people watching during dinner. Next, Surreal and open mic night. Guy wouldn’t play Michael McDonald requests and i can’t play the guitar but if i would have had my yamaha keyboard i would have been Yah Mo B’in there all night long! Next “too intoxicated” for the strict “no intoxication” policy at the Buffalo Club. Then to World Bar and madness. I think we had a nickname for everyone inside this place, Slow-Mo, Pj’s, Green, Sideways, Workout, Tall-awkward-tool, Afro…etc. This place was what happens when… i actually don’t even know.

HIL-AR-IOUS!!!!! Omg it was so worth the budget splurge!! Good pizza, not as good as NYC obvi, but the speed dating made it amusing. This place World Bar had us cracking up. I realize we sound like pretentious New Yorkers now, but for real, it was amazing to watch this scene of 18-22 year olds getting totally wasted and doing pretty much anything to get laid, so funny!!! Man, we were not ever like that right?! I wish we had our camera to take pics so you could understand how absolutely fantastic this dance party scene was! Man, this guy ‘Sideways’ (he had sideways hair) was pure delight to watch, then we saw him the next day, hair still the same, with one of the girls from the bar – YES!!!!!
