So far Byron Bay is #1. 1770 is a close #2. The town has one street, one bar/cafe/resturant and thats it! Time seems to stand still. We’ve been here for 4 days and it feels like the afternoon of the first. Amazing sunsets and the weather is about as perfect as it gets. We’ve been beach side for most of the days makin’ dinner around sunset then off to the bar for some drinks before s’moores at the camp fire under the stars. The Milky Way here is so vivid its ridiculous. A lot of Backpackers have been rolling through. We however have opted to stay put and have managed to make some friends with the people at the bar/cafe who make this ridiculous version of ice coffee which is made by using ice cream. Geoff the Chef, who’s from Holland, makes his with 2 cookies and ice cream blended together with a double shot of espresso. The coffee situation around here is much more specific than the NY “Light and Sweet” routine.
